Development and alumni affairs assistant

B.A., Journalism and Mass Communication, UNC-Chapel Hill

Bugno graduated from UNC in May 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, concentrating in news-editorial journalism. While a student at Carolina,  she wrote for The Daily Tar Heel and Blue & White, and also chaired UNC's Relay For Life. After graduation, she interned at Highlights For Children. Bugno joined the journalism school's development and alumni affairs team in October 2008. She aids Speed Hallman, assistant dean for development, and works with the Journalism Alumni and Friends Association (JAFA), helping coordinate alumni stewardship and programs and managing other office activities.
