Distance Education
The School of Journalism and Mass Communication offers several online learning opportunities. Distance education courses follow the semester schedule and are generally taught by full-time faculty. Courses are delivered using the Blackboard course-management system.

The Certificate in Technology and Communication is a five-course master’s-level program. Through readings, online forum postings and e-mail, students interact with instructors as well as with classmates.
